School Groups
Staglands Wildlife Reserve provides a wonderful educational environment offering fantastic learning opportunities that reflect the new NZ Curriculum and 5 Key Competencies. These experiences cannot be replicated in the classroom. Bookings are essential and it is highly recommended that you book as early as possible to ensure that your preferred date is available. Your group can use The Barn as a central point and you are welcome to bring your own lunch or book in our special BBQ pack.
There is plenty of room for parking cars and buses and our Staglands Café is open every day, so the parents and teachers can get a well earned coffee.

Special School Rates-$6.00 per person
We have a special school rate of $6.00 for adults and children available to the following groups:
• Pre-school groups
• Schools (including secondary)
• Special needs and disabled groups
Please note the following conditions apply:
• Not available to pre-schools and schools during weekends and holidays
• Under fours in a pre-school group are $6.00
• Pre-school groups must pay as a group and not individually

Special School Holiday Program Rate - $7.00 per person
We have a special rate of $7.00 for adults and children aviailable for school holiday programs. Advance booking required.

Special School BBQ Package-$12.00 per person
Includes admission and following BBQ lunch:
• 1 x sausage, bread & onions
• Juice-jugs of raro
• Your choice of a fruit platter or 1 x cupcake per person
Additional sausage, bread & onions is $1.50 each
We provide all the utensils and equipment - all you need to provide is an adult to cook the sausages. Minimum of 12 children required. |

Other Groups
Our wildlife park offers a discounted entry fee for groups of 10 people or more. Staglands in the Akatarawa Valley is the perfect location for a group visit whether it is simply for a fun day out with extended family, a club outing or a get-together with friends or colleagues.
Don’t forget Staglands is well equipped as a conference or day seminar venue and for special occasions such as children’s birthday parties special events and for weddings and receptions!
Group bookings are essential and you must pay as a group in order to receive a discount.
